Connection#

To establish a connection between TQT Nuclei and your NMR device, you need two cables and a few seconds.

What you need#

  • The NMR device
  • A 220V power cable (included)
  • A USB Type A to Type B cable (included)
  • A computer running TQT Nuclei

Steps#

  1. Power connection

Plug the NMR device into a 220V power outlet using the provided cable. Use a grounded outlet on a stable circuit — avoid power strips shared with high-draw equipment (motors, heaters).

  1. Data connection

Connect the Type B end of the USB cable to the NMR device and the Type A end to your computer.

!!! tip Use a USB port directly on the computer, not a USB hub. Hubs can cause intermittent disconnections during long experiments.

  1. Connect in software

Turn on the NMR device, launch TQT Nuclei, and click Connect on the HOME page. The software will detect the device automatically.

If the device is not detected#

  • Check that both cables are firmly seated.
  • Try a different USB port.
  • Restart TQT Nuclei.
  • On Windows, check Device Manager → Ports (COM & LPT) for the device.
